Fukagawa Edo Museum hosts Kimono de Edo no Machi yukata experience on July 4
Visitors can walk through the permanent Edo-town gallery in yukata for this one-day program.
Fukagawa Edo Museum will hold 'Kimono de Edo no Machi,' a yukata dressing experience, on Saturday, July 4, 2026. The program runs from 11:00 to 16:00 in the permanent exhibition room.
Participants can wear yukata and walk through the life-size Edo town display. The museum says photography is allowed in the exhibition room, and the fee is 3,500 yen, including admission to the permanent exhibition.
The final reception is at 15:00, and guests accepted at that time need to finish viewing and change clothes by 16:40. The program is for guests 140 cm or taller; bring suitable undergarments and geta or sandals. Applications are by phone or at the museum counter.
