Chocolate-banana food sample workshops run for three days at Tokyo Solamachi
The reservation-only workshop for ages four and up uses wax bananas and cookies at a third-floor special venue.
Ganso Shokuhin Sample-ya will hold a chocolate-banana food sample workshop at Tokyo Solamachi from Friday, August 7, through Sunday, August 9, 2026. The special venue is near the escalator in East Yard Block 9 on the third floor, not inside the brand's regular fourth-floor shop.
Participants will coat a wax banana with melted chocolate-colored wax, cut decorative sprinkle pieces, and make a wax cookie to add to the finished sample. The workshop is open to ages four and up and costs ¥3,500 including tax. Children in second grade or younger need a parent or guardian to accompany and help them.
Sessions begin at 11:00 a.m., 1:30 p.m., and 3:30 p.m. and take about one hour; participants should arrive ten minutes early. Capacity is six people per session on August 7 and ten per session on August 8 and 9. Advance online booking is required, so check availability and current details on the official page.
