Asakusa Culture Tourist Information Center hosts a culture and manners exhibition through August 17
A Taito sightseeing board game created by high school students and hands-on cultural sessions led by local students fill the seventh-floor exhibition space.
Asakusa Culture Tourist Information Center is holding the Taito Culture and Manners Experience Exhibition from Tuesday, July 28, through Monday, August 17, 2026. The seventh-floor exhibition space is open from 9:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m.; on the final day, it closes at 5:00 p.m.
The central display is a sightseeing and manners board game created by local high school students. It guides players through Taito City history and cultural facilities while introducing local recommendations and manners. Scheduled hands-on sessions include the board game, traditional play, an upcycled teru-teru bozu craft, Edo kimekomi, and calligraphy on a fan.
Admission is free, although the Edo kimekomi and calligraphy sessions charge for materials. Workshop dates and times differ: upcoming sessions include the two crafts on August 3 and calligraphy on August 15. The center is at 2-18-9 Kaminarimon, Taito City, across from Kaminarimon.
