Fukagawa Edo Museum will hold traditional performances on June 13 and 27
Near Kiyosumi-Shirakawa, the recreated Edo streetscape gallery will host June performances of Edo kouta and sumo jinku.
Fukagawa Edo Museum has posted its first-half 2026 traditional performance schedule, and the June dates are now set. Edo kouta by Nakamura Ichinosuke is scheduled for Saturday, June 13, and sumo jinku by the Koto Sumo Jinku Association is scheduled for Saturday, June 27.
Both performances start at 14:00 in front of the watchtower inside the museum's permanent exhibition hall, which recreates an Edo-era townscape. The museum says each program runs for about 30 minutes.
You can watch with the regular permanent exhibition admission ticket, listed at 400 yen for adults and 50 yen for children. Entry may be limited if the venue gets full, and the museum notes that dates or performers may change, so check the official page before visiting.
