BOOK MARKET 2026 comes to Taito-kan in Asakusa on August 8 and 9
The book market brings together 77 companies across 63 booths and is open from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. with free admission.
BOOK MARKET 2026 will be held in Asakusa on Saturday, August 8 and Sunday, August 9, 2026. The venue is the north section of the seventh floor at Tokyo Metropolitan Industrial Trade Center Taito-kan, and the market is open from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. on both days.
The organizer lists 77 publishers, bookshops and other participants across 63 booths, including 10 first-time exhibitors. Admission is free. A limited original tote bag will also be available to visitors who buy three or more books, while supplies last.
The venue is at 2-6-5 Hanakawado, Taito City. It is about a five-minute walk from Asakusa Station on either the Tokyo Metro Ginza Line or Tobu Skytree Line, eight minutes from the Toei Asakusa Line station, and nine minutes from the Tsukuba Express station.
