Kaminarimon Civic Hall offers social media and short-video courses in September

Taito City will hold social media communication and short-video production courses at Kaminarimon Civic Hall on Saturdays from September 5 through 26, 2026. The social media course meets from 10:00 a.m. to noon, while the video course meets from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m.

The social media course is divided into two-session beginner and advanced sections using Instagram, with Edits also required for the advanced section. The four-session video course covers planning, editing and uploading a video to YouTube using Edits. Each course is free and limited to 10 participants, with a lottery if oversubscribed.

Applicants must be Taito City residents or workers aged 16 or older, excluding students, who can attend every session and use their own compatible smartphone or tablet. Additional app and account requirements differ by course. Applications are online only and close on Thursday, August 20.
