Tickets are on sale for Shitamachi Music Festival concerts at Asakusa Public Hall

Taito City has announced the 30th Shitamachi Music Festival, a series of classical concerts by amateur orchestras and wind ensembles in the ward. The two concerts at Asakusa Public Hall are scheduled for November 29 and December 6, 2026. Ticket sales began on September 24.

Ueno Asakusa Philharmonic Orchestra will perform Brahms's Symphony No. 3 and Dvorak's Symphony No. 8 on November 29. Doors open at 12:45 p.m. and the concert starts at 1:30 p.m. Tickets cost 1,500 yen. Shitaya Wind Ensemble follows on December 6, with doors at 1 p.m. and a 1:30 p.m. start. Tickets for that concert cost 1,000 yen.

Both concerts use unreserved seating at Asakusa Public Hall, 1-38-6 Asakusa, Taito City, Tokyo. Tickets are available through the Taito City Arts and Culture Foundation's online service, by CN Playguide phone booking, or at the hall counter from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. The notice says convenience-store ticket collection carries a handling charge. Preschool children cannot enter the November 29 concert. Check the official notice before booking.
