Kimono Toiki Asakusa reopens in Hanakawado on September 25

The new shop is on floor 2 of Hanakawado 1-chome Building, open 10:30 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. and closed Wednesdays.

Kimono Toiki Asakusa reopens at 1-9-1 Hanakawado, Taito City, Tokyo, on floor 2 of Hanakawado 1-chome Building on September 25, 2026. Its former shop on floor 3 of Matsuya Asakusa closed on September 15. The operator lists September 16 through 24 as the moving period.

The new shop will sell kimono and accessories, offer dressing lessons and care and alteration consultations, and resume furisode rental and sales. An opening celebration runs September 25 through 27. The shop recommends advance reservations to check a particular product, size or color.

Hours are 10:30 a.m. to 6:30 p.m., closed Wednesdays. The official guide places it a one-minute walk from Asakusa Station's north exit. Call 03-6682-7057 with questions. Check the operator's shop page for the new address and hours before visiting.
