Sumida Hokusai Museum marks its 10th anniversary with a crossword challenge
Participants submit an answer with a Hokusai and Hiroshige exhibition ticket or annual pass, with gifts limited to the first 500 correct entries.
The Sumida Hokusai Museum is holding a 10th-anniversary crossword challenge from Saturday, July 4, through Sunday, August 30, 2026. The event is open to everyone, but participants must present a ticket for Hokusai and Hiroshige—Two Maestros, Two Visions of Mount Fuji, an advance ticket for the exhibition, or an annual passport.
Download and print the crossword sheet from the museum website, solve it, and take the completed answer to the first-floor reception desk. A correct answer receives one commemorative gift per person. The museum says gifts are limited to the first 500 participants and the event will finish once they are gone.
The venue is the Sumida Hokusai Museum at 2-7-2 Kamezawa, Sumida City. Bring both the completed sheet and an eligible ticket or annual pass, and check the official event page before visiting because the gift distribution may end before August 30.
