Ryogoku Edo NOREN will host Ryogoku Yokai Summer Festival 2026 on July 12
The one-day program includes a mask workshop, indoor stamp rally, procession, performances, and an Edo Monster bon dance.
Ryogoku Yokai Summer Festival 2026 is scheduled for Sunday, July 12, 2026, at Ryogoku Edo NOREN, the commercial facility in the renovated former Ryogoku Station building.
The Sumida City Tourism Association page lists a free mask workshop for elementary-school-age children and younger from 10:30, limited to the first 100 participants by numbered ticket. A stamp rally around the facility also starts at 10:30, with original tote bags available while supplies last.
Afternoon programs include a 13:30 procession, a 14:00 stage performance, a 17:15 procession by Asakusa Ukon-ya, and Edo Monster bon dance sessions at 15:30 and 17:30. The event is free to enter and scheduled from 10:00 to 19:00, rain or shine, but the page notes that content may change due to weather or heat.
