Asakusa Hanayashiki has started its rainy-season discount through July 13
The park has launched a weather-based campaign that can reduce admission to free, depending on the Tokyo rain forecast announced at 5:00 p.m. the day before.
Asakusa Hanayashiki has started its first Tsuyuwari rainy-season discount campaign, running from Saturday, June 13, through Monday, July 13, 2026.
According to the official page, the discount is based on the Tokyo rain probability announced by the Japan Meteorological Agency at 5:00 p.m. on the previous day for 10:00 a.m. the next day. Admission is discounted when the forecast is 70 percent or higher, with adult tickets dropping from 1,600 yen to 500 yen at 70 percent, and admission becoming free for adults, children, and seniors when the forecast reaches 100 percent.
This is a practical planning update for rainy Asakusa visits because the park says the daily result will be posted on its official site and social accounts. The notice also lists closure days during the campaign, including June 23, June 30, and July 1 to 3, so it is worth checking both the weather-based notice and the operating calendar before you go.
