Tokyo Skytree Town holds free uchimizu events on August 8 and 9
Visitors can cool down with sumo wrestlers from Naruto stable and Sorakara-chan from 4:00 p.m. at Soramizaka Square.
Tokyo Skytree Town will hold uchimizu water-sprinkling events on Saturday, August 8, and Sunday, August 9, 2026. The free program begins at 4:00 p.m. each day at Soramizaka Square on the first floor.
The event uses stored rainwater and provides the ladles and buckets, so visitors can join without bringing equipment. This year, an ice pillar will also be installed as another way to cool down. Naruto stablemaster and wrestlers from Naruto stable will appear with Sorakara-chan on August 8; wrestlers from the stable and Sorakara-chan will appear on August 9.
The event ends when the available water runs out, so arriving near the 4:00 p.m. start is the safer option. The venue is Tokyo Skytree Town at 1-1-2 Oshiage. Check the official event page before visiting in case the program changes.
