Edo-Tokyo Museum will hold a Nihonbashi and Ryogokubashi model lecture on June 28

The free Ryogoku lecture on everyday Edo life and the reconstruction design of a Nihonbashi and Ryogokubashi Hirokoji model is nearing its application deadline.

The Edo-Tokyo Museum in Ryogoku is accepting applications for a special culture lecture titled Everyday Edo Life and the Reconstruction Design of the Nihonbashi and Ryogokubashi Hirokoji model. The event is scheduled for Sunday, June 28, 2026, from 14:00 to 15:50 at the museum's main hall.

The listed lecturer is Jun Hatano, professor emeritus at Nippon Institute of Technology. Admission is free, and the museum says applications can be made online or by return postcard.

The application deadline is Friday, June 12, and entries will be chosen by lottery if demand is high. If you are planning a late-June Ryogoku visit, this is a practical date to lock in early because the application window is short and the museum notes that program details may change.
