Edo Tokyo Campaign 2026 Summer will run across Asakusa, Ryogoku, and Tokyo Solamachi on July 24-25

Cultural activities, displays, and an Edo-Tokyo Museum stage program will coincide with the Sumida River Fireworks Festival.

The Tokyo Metropolitan Government announced on July 16 that Edo Tokyo Campaign 2026 Summer will take place on July 24 and 25. The program connects venues in Asakusa, Ryogoku, and Tokyo Solamachi around the weekend of the Sumida River Fireworks Festival.

Cultural activities and Edo-themed displays are scheduled at Asakusa Culture Tourist Information Center, Ryogoku Edo NOREN, and the East first-floor entrance space at Tokyo Solamachi. Activities will be offered at the Asakusa and Ryogoku venues. These programs run from 10:00 to 18:00 on July 24 and from 10:00 to 15:00 on July 25.

Edo-Tokyo Museum will also hold talks on Edo culture and local performing-arts shows in its first-floor Grand Hall from 11:15 to 14:00 on July 25. The metropolitan notice does not list admission or advance-booking rules, so visitors should check the latest campaign and venue information before traveling.
