Tokyo Solamachi will open a water-play area on August 6
The first-floor Solamachi Plaza fountain will add play equipment including a tipping bucket and water fireworks through August 19.
Tokyo Solamachi will turn the fountain in its first-floor Solamachi Plaza into a water-play area from Thursday, August 6, through Wednesday, August 19, 2026. The event is scheduled from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. each day.
The temporary equipment includes a tipping bucket, jets described as water fireworks, and a Triceratops mist feature. The regular fountain is scheduled to continue until 7:00 p.m. except on the final day, but the added play area closes at 5:00 p.m.
The official notice asks visitors not to enter the building while wet and says pets, soap and bubble solution are not allowed in the area. Fountain times or the event itself may change without notice because of weather or facility conditions, so check the Tokyo Solamachi event page before going.
