Edo-Tokyo Museum will hold its Edo Tokyo Campaign 2026 Spring event on June 13 and 14

A free two-day program of talks and local performing arts is scheduled at Edo-Tokyo Museum in Ryogoku.

Edo-Tokyo Museum says it will hold its Edo Tokyo Campaign 2026 Spring event on Saturday, June 13, and Sunday, June 14, 2026, at the museum’s first-floor Grand Hall in Ryogoku. The official page says admission is free and no advance reservation is required.

The posted schedule includes talks on Sumida traditional crafts, Edo festivals, and Edo townspeople culture seen through ukiyo-e, along with performances such as satokagura, shishimai, local theater, and geisha entertainment. The same notice adds that a related Gijinten display will run in the foyer from 11:00 to 17:00 and that a stamp rally is also planned.

For people already moving around Ryogoku this weekend, this is a practical drop-in program rather than a ticketed exhibition add-on. Seats are first come, first served, and the museum notes that regular admission still applies if you also want to enter the permanent exhibition area.
