Vacant shops in Kiyokawa will reopen for one day on July 26

The Kitarhythm Stamp Rally will link a flea market, workshops, and food around the Asahi shopping street in northern Asakusa.

Taito City has announced the Kitarhythm Stamp Rally for Sunday, July 26, 2026, around the Asahi shopping street in Kiyokawa 1-chome and 2-chome. The event runs from 13:00 to 18:00 in the northern Asakusa area.

Several vacant shops on the street will reopen for one day with a flea market, workshops, and food. Visitors can collect stamps by going around the participating locations, and the city says people who visit every shop will receive a prize.

The JIMOTO pedestrian-street event will take place on Asahi-kai-dori at the same time, with performances by an Asakusa samba team and local dancers. The city page does not list detailed shop-by-shop hours, so check the official notice and event flyer before setting out.
