Stamp Festival ’26 comes to Asakusa Taito-kan on July 18-19
The event brings together 60 makers from Japan and overseas, with a hands-on area offering more than 700 stamps to try.
Stamp Festival ’26 will be held on Saturday, July 18, and Sunday, July 19, 2026, at the Tokyo Metropolitan Industrial Trade Center Taito-kan in Asakusa. The organizer says 60 makers from Japan, Taiwan, Hong Kong, and Malaysia will take part.
The event covers illustrated, hand-carved, and practical stamps, alongside a hands-on area where visitors can freely try more than 700 stamps. Typography Festival will take place at the same venue and on the same dates.
Hours are 9:00 to 17:00 on July 18 and 9:00 to 16:00 on July 19. Advance admission is ¥1,200 and same-day admission is ¥1,500. The venue is about five minutes on foot from Tokyo Metro Ginza Line or Tobu Skytree Line Asakusa Station. The organizer says any cancellation due to severe weather will be posted by 7:00 on the event day.
