Waka Yoshida's Fresh Fossils opens at GALLERY MoMo Ryogoku on September 12

The artist's exhibition, shaped by natural-history motifs, runs at the Kamezawa gallery through October 17.

GALLERY MoMo Ryogoku will present Waka Yoshida's solo exhibition Fresh Fossils from Saturday, September 12 through Saturday, October 17, 2026. An opening reception is scheduled for September 12 from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m.

The gallery describes Yoshida's work as drawing on natural-history subjects including landforms, dinosaurs, scale models and minerals, without being limited to flat or three-dimensional formats. Those references provide useful context for the works in the new exhibition.

GALLERY MoMo Ryogoku is at 1-7-15 Kamezawa, Sumida City. It is open Tuesday through Saturday from 11:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. and closed on Sundays, Mondays and national holidays. Check the gallery's official exhibition page before visiting in case the schedule changes.
