Basho Memorial Museum hosts a Fukagawa and Kiba history lecture on July 4
The lecture connects to the current exhibition and looks at Kiba as a canal-side timber town.
Basho Memorial Museum near Kiyosumi-Shirakawa will hold its history lecture Fukagawa Kiba no Rekishi to Bunka on Saturday, July 4, 2026, from 10:00 to 11:30.

The venue is the first-floor meeting room at Koto City Basho Memorial Museum. Applications opened at 9:00 on June 10 by phone or at the museum desk, with a capacity of 36 people. The fee is 200 yen, including admission, and discounts do not apply because the lecture fee is included.
