The Great Insect Exhibition in Tokyo Skytree Town will open on July 11 at Tokyo Solamachi

As part of Tokyo Skytree Town’s summer vacation program, an insect exhibition with live displays and hands-on sections is coming to Solamachi.

Tokyo Skytree Town announced on June 11 that The Great Insect Exhibition in Tokyo Skytree Town will run from Saturday, July 11, through Sunday, August 30, 2026, at Space 634 on the fifth floor of Tokyo Solamachi.

The release says the exhibition will include a hands-on forest area with live rhinoceros beetles and stag beetles, displays of unusual insects from around the world, and related workshops useful for summer homework projects. Opening hours are listed as 10:00 to 18:00, extended to 20:00 from August 7 to 15, with the final day closing at 17:00.

For families planning summer visits around Tokyo Skytree, the practical point is that ticket pricing changes by day type and there is also a discounted Skytree combo ticket. The announcement says advance sales have already started through ticket agencies, so checking the latest availability before you go makes sense.
