English-language comedy show OWARAI ASAKUSA is coming to Asakusa Toyokan from July 10
The Toyokan theater in Asakusa Rokku is scheduled to host a fully English-language live comedy program for inbound visitors in two blocks, in July and September.
Chukyo TV has announced that OWARAI ASAKUSA, a fully English-language live comedy show aimed at inbound visitors, will be staged at Asakusa France-za Engeijo Toyokan in two runs: Friday, July 10, to Friday, July 17, 2026, and Wednesday, September 2, to Friday, September 11.
The official announcement lists the start time as 7:00 p.m., with each performance expected to run about 60 minutes. Ticket prices are listed at 6,000 yen, with domestic sales through Asoview and overseas sales through GetYourGuide.
For people around Asakusa Rokku in the evening, this is a fixed-date theater event rather than the Toyokan's usual daytime variety program. Because July schedules on the Toyokan site are posted separately closer to the month, it makes sense to check both the ticket page and the venue's latest guidance before going.
