Yamagata food and Oku no Hosomichi fair comes to Tokyo Solamachi on September 5 and 6

The free two-day fair offers Yamagata juice samples and limited collaboration menus.

Tokyo Solamachi will hold the Yamagata Food and Oku no Hosomichi Fair on Saturday, September 5 and Sunday, September 6, 2026. The free event runs from 11:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. in the East Yard entrance spaces on floors one and basement three.

The fair is a joint project by the Tokyo Metropolitan Government and Yamagata Prefecture. The official page lists samples of Yamagata juice, travel information connected to Matsuo Basho's Oku no Hosomichi route, character appearances, a photo area, a stamp rally and a capsule lottery. Participating restaurants will also add Yamagata ingredients to existing dishes for two days only.

Tokyo Solamachi is at 1-1-2 Oshiage, Sumida City. Admission to the fair is free, but food and other purchases may cost extra. Check the official event page before visiting because menu availability and program details may change.
