Asakusa Hanayashiki starts its Coaster Uncle treasure hunt event through June 29
A participatory game using the usually off-limits Ochinoma area has started during the roller coaster maintenance period.
Asakusa Hanayashiki has started the participatory treasure hunt event Coaster Uncle's Hidden Savings Search, running from Wednesday, June 3, to Monday, June 29, 2026.
The official page says the event uses the Ochinoma area inside the roller coaster course, a spot visitors do not normally enter. Guests search for hidden savings left by the character Coaster Uncle, and prizes change depending on the amount they find.
The fee is 500 yen including tax or five ride tickets, and the event is paid from age five. Reception hours are 10:00 a.m. to 5:40 p.m., with the park listing June 23 as a closed day during the period. The roller coaster itself remains out of service for maintenance through July 17, so check the latest park information before visiting.
