Otakara at Market opens in Asakusa on September 19
Two floors carry about 1,500 items. Buying used goods is planned for November; tax-free sales are still under application.
Otakara at Market Asakusa opened on September 19, 2026, on floors 1 and 2 at 1-23-7 Asakusa, Taito City, Tokyo. Operator Woodstock announced it on September 17 as its first shop with a product range and layout tailored to overseas visitors.
The shop carries about 1,500 items, including figures, trading cards and anime and manga merchandise, with capsule toys also available. Its card selection focuses on the Pokémon Trading Card Game. It plans to sell new products as well as goods purchased from customers at existing branches.
Hours are 11 a.m. to 9 p.m.; the phone number is 03-6284-7967. At the time of the announcement, buying used goods at the Asakusa shop was planned to start in November, and tax-free sales were still under application. Check with the shop before visiting to sell items or make tax-free purchases.
