Taito's East-West Megurin bus detours for the Kaminarimon Bon Odori from 3:00 p.m. on September 5

Buses will skip the Kaminarimon-mae stop for the rest of the day, and traffic conditions may affect the restriction period and timetable.

Taito City's East-West Megurin community bus will take a detour from 3:00 p.m. through the end of service on Saturday, September 5, 2026, because of the Kaminarimon Bon Odori event in Asakusa.

During the detour, buses will pass stop 33, Kaminarimon-mae, without stopping. People traveling to or from the Kaminarimon area that afternoon and evening should allow extra time and check a nearby stop before boarding.

Taito City notes that road conditions may shift the traffic-restriction period and cause timetable delays. Check the city's official notice for any update on the day of travel.
