Hand Roll Tokyo Asakusa adds a matcha cafe in a September 12 renewal

The shop will become a joint location with MAME-TO-CHA, adding matcha drinks and a larger dine-in area.

Hand Roll Tokyo Asakusa will reopen on Saturday, September 12, 2026, as a joint shop with organic matcha cafe MAME-TO-CHA. The update adds a matcha drink counter to the hand-roll sushi shop at 1-12-6 Asakusa, Taito City.

According to the operator's September 1 announcement, drinks will use JAS-certified organic Fuji Matcha from Shizuoka and will be whisked to order. The shop, which has mainly focused on takeaway, also plans to expand its air-conditioned dine-in area.

The announcement confirms the renewal date and address but does not publish updated business hours. Check the shop's official website or social account before visiting for opening hours, the available menu and any opening-day arrangements.
